The factory audit is based upon ISO 9001:2000. It is not an ISO audit, but is designed to cover the major topic areas of ISO 9001:2000, focusing on actual implementation on the factory floor. Every major topic area is followed from SOP to implementation.

For example, when auditing change management, we will look at the guiding SOPs, but then follow at least one engineering change order (ECO) from initialization to completion on the factory floor. At least two QSS specialists are required for one full day to complete this audit.
A factory survey is available for $400. The survey covers the same topics as an audit, but not in as much detail. We focus on implementation on the factory floor, but don't follow every topic area from beginning to end. |
