Shipment Inspection |
Find out what's in your shipment before it leaves China! Handling returned goods from China can be difficult and expensive, that's why it's vital that you inspect your shipments in advance. Prompt reports give you the option - don't ship and rework on site, or accept the shipment with knowledge of the expected type and number of defects. Either way, you've managed the risk of global sourcing.
Quality Sourcing Solutions is ready to help you manage your risk. Our experienced engineers and quality specialists can perform inspections, either pre-shipment or in-process, and provide you a complete report, including digital photographs.
| We can also work with the vendor to complete corrective actions, and then work with your purchasing and quality staff to validate the rework and complete required corrective action reports (CARS or SCARS). |
| |
| The basic price for a shipment inspection is $300 US, though the price may vary based upon travel requirements, size of shipment, or other factors. A pre-shipment inspection consists of: |
- A QSS engineer will work with you to gather all the required information, and to understand your expectations.
- QSS will prepare a quality inspection plan, and submit to you for approval.
- QSS will contact the vendor, schedule the inspection and travel to the vendors site (fee includes travel in ZheJiang province with three hours of Ningbo).
- The QSS quality specialist will complete the inspection and submit the report.
- After review by the QSS engineer responsible for your shipment, and within 24 hours, you will receive a report complete with measurements and digital photographs.
